Lightaq.com: Shipping & Returns Policy
Shipping & Receiving: Most orders on Lightaq.com are subject to free ground shipping, but not all. Any products that are eligible for free shipping will be marked as such, so you are able to distinguish between products that have free shipping and products that don’t.
Lightaq.com and its suppliers ship to the 48 contiguous United States, but additional shipping and handling charges may apply for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. For shipments outside the 48 contiguous states, please contact us via phone or email prior to placing the order.
Please ensure that all shipping & billing information provided by you is accurate. If any shipping information included on your order is incorrect and shipments must be rerouted to your correct address, you are responsible for any additional costs to do so. Lightaq.com is not responsible for any time delays and costs resulting from inaccurate shipping addresses provided to us by you.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to receive and unload the product from freight shipments through private trucking companies. Ground shipments through UPS and FEDEX may be unloaded by the drivers, but not guaranteed. For any large shipments that may require additional heavy equipment to unload, we will try our best to notify you, so you are prepared for receiving. Any additional costs that you may incur from receiving large shipments is your responsibility.
Lightaq.com is not responsible for any delivery delays beyond Lightaq.com’s control such as any accidents, civil commotion, fire, flood, acts of god, acts of terrorism, shipping companies, freight companies, acts or mistakes of shipping carriers.
Product Inspection: Product shipments are prone to damages from shipping and freight companies. It is your responsibility to inspect all orders immediately before signing off your delivery. If you find any obvious and/or heavy damages to packaging or products during your inspection, you should refuse to take delivery from the carrier.
If you take delivery of a shipment and later notice any damage, please notify Lightaq.com immediately via phone or email within 24 hours of taking delivery. Lightaq.com is not responsible for any damage that is reported more than 24 hours after taking delivery of the shipment. Lightaq.com is also not liable for any damages caused by the shipping companies. Once the damage is reported to us within 24 hours, our team will contact the seller and the shipping company for inspection to resolve your issue, but we make no guarantees.
Returns & Refunds: Lightaq.com accepts returns and/or exchanges on unused and unopened products within 30 days of product delivery. A restocking fee of 25% applies to all products returned unless the products are exchanged for an equivalent product.
To return products, you must contact us via email or phone to receive a “Return Product Authorization” (RPA) Form. Once we receive a completed RPA Form, you will be instructed to ship the products back to us or the manufacturer for inspection. You are responsible for all return shipping costs and charges. Any original shipping costs are not refundable.
All returns must be in original packaging and must be unused. Lightaq.com reserves the right to reject any returned items that does not meet our return guidelines. Refunds will not be issued for any returns rejected by us and a reason for rejection will be provided to you upon inspection. Custom-made products and custom orders are not returnable and do not qualify for refunds.
Refunds are made by original method of payment less the restocking charges.
Warranties: Lightaq.com makes no warranties, representations, statements or guarantees regarding the site or the products contained therein. Your only recourse for the products on this site is the manufacturer’s warranty and Lightaq.com is not liable for any manufacturer’s warranty offers. Lightaq.com helps to facilitate the manufacturer’s warranty as a complimentary service to our customers for the products listed on the site. Lightaq.com does not offer any reimbursement for the product, labor, or any other expenses on any sale for any product. All product warranty claims will be limited to the manufacturer’s warranty policies and periods.
